Audio Introduction: Welcome to Kalyanamita
A short audio introduction to Kalyanamita and what you can expect from the reflections, meditations, and conversations ahead.
ListenA quiet companion for the journey inward.
Kalyanamita (Pali: कल्याणमित्त) means “admirable friend” or “spiritual friend.” In the Buddhist tradition, such a friend is someone who supports, inspires, and walks alongside us on the path toward greater clarity, compassion, and freedom.
This blog is an offering in that spirit. It is a personal space for sharing Buddhist-inspired wisdom, contemplative reflections, and practical insights for everyday life. Nothing here is meant to be dogmatic or final. Consider it a quiet companion for the journey inward.
You will find a mix of formats — essays, guided meditations, audio reflections, photographs, and occasional video teachings. The aim is not to accumulate knowledge, but to gently point toward what the Buddha called ehipassiko: come and see for yourself.
“Admirable friendship, admirable companionship, admirable camaraderie is actually the whole of the holy life.”
— Upaddha Sutta, SN 45.2
